Description: This course is design to help college Freshmen to be with the writing, grammar, and formatting abilities necessary to be competitive at the college and university level.     

Benefit of Certification: Nearly all college courses will require a written essay at some point. Knowing the rules of writing styles and how to organize thoughts for different kinds of reports and essays can be invaluable to being a successful learner in higher education.    

Learning Objectives: Students will learn  

  • the APA writing style rules  
  • how to organize thoughts and prepare different types of reports and essays. (Research, informative, non-fiction, and fiction)  

Assessment: Participants will submit 3 writing samples successfully using APA writing style.
