US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council Roundtable
Ladies and gentlemen,
It is with great honor that I share that AC Language School and AC Global Learning proudly participated in this landmark event: the roundtable held on April 24, 2025, with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Adylbek Kasymaliev, during his working visit to Washington, D.C.
This prestigious gathering, organized by the US-Kyrgyzstan Business Council under the leadership of Ms. Elena Son, served as a vital platform for strengthening mutual understanding and forging strong, forward-looking partnerships between the United States and Kyrgyzstan. We witnessed firsthand the inspiring vision shared by Prime Minister Kasymaliev, emphasizing Kyrgyzstan’s sustainable economic growth, its commitment to transparency, the bold implementation of digital reforms, and its welcoming environment for international investment.
Representing AC Language School and AC Global Learning were Ms. Angeles Chavez, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Elias Alonzo, Executive Director.
In her message, Ms. Chavez emphasized the importance of advancing high-skill training and accredited university degrees that equip individuals not just to participate in the economy—but to lead it. She reaffirmed that preparing for a better tomorrow requires bold investments in education today. Her message resonated deeply with the call for regional development and international collaboration.
Dr. Alonzo focused on preparing the workforce to meet the new challenges demanded by a competitive global economy. He spoke about the power of education to unlock human potential and the urgent need to align skills development with the rapidly changing needs of industry, technology, and sustainable infrastructure.
The Prime Minister’s remarks confirmed that Kyrgyzstan is a country of new opportunities. With liberal tax laws, access to vast markets, and a commitment to supporting investment projects, the stage is set for innovative partnerships. The nation’s energy projects, mineral resources, tourism potential, and infrastructure development offer vast areas for collaboration—particularly in workforce development and education.
