AC Language School, represented by Angeles Chavez, owner and president, along with Alex I. Chavez, Dr. Jose Alejandro Chavez and Dr. Elias Alonzo, proudly participated in the American-Romanian Business Council’s (AMRO) 11th Annual Business Mission to Bucharest, achieving remarkable success.

During the mission, the AC Language School delegation not only engaged in impactful discussions with distinguished Romanian officials but also fell in love with the country, its people, and its culinary delights. The warmth and hospitality extended by the Romanian hosts left a lasting impression on our delegation.

Furthermore, the representatives from the US Commercial Services demonstrated exceptional support throughout the mission, providing valuable assistance and guidance to ensure the success of our endeavors.

In a spirit of international cooperation and goodwill, Angeles Chavez, President of AC Language School, also took the opportunity to offer scholarships to deserving students through World Vision Romania. This gesture reflects our commitment to supporting education and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential. We eagerly anticipate witnessing these deserving students advance successfully in their academic pursuits.

The delegation, comprising esteemed members of AC Language School, joined 14 companies convened by AMRO for the mission to Romania on March 20 and 21, 2024. Throughout the event, the Council engaged in impactful discussions with distinguished Romanian officials, including Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Ștefan-Radu Oprea, Minister of Investments and European Projects Adrian Câciu, Minister of Health Alexandru Rafila, Minister of Energy Sebastian-Ioan Burduja, Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitization Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, as well as other prominent figures such as Alexandru-Mihai Ghigiu, Luminița Odobescu, Vasile-Daniel Suciu, Sorin-Mihai Cîmpeanu, and Marius Zinca.

Notably, the delegation had the honor of attending a reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador to Romania Kathleen Kavalec, providing a platform for constructive dialogue between Romanian government officials and representatives of American businesses. Additionally, AMRO facilitated the sixth annual U.S.-Romania Defense and Cybersecurity Forum in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Economy, and Ministry of Internal Affairs, further strengthening bilateral relations and fostering opportunities for cooperation in defense and cybersecurity sectors.
